The mayor of Detroit, Kwame Kilpatrick, is under fire for allegedly lying under oath and for having an extramarital affair with his chief of staff, Christine Beatty. Now both could see 15 years in jail for perjury.

**Update 8/7/08 - Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was sent to jail Thursday after violating his bond by going on a trip to Canada last month for business without first notifying the authorities. Kilpatrick will have his own cell “because he’s a high-profile inmate”, according to a spokesman for the country sheriff. He will spend at least one night in jail.***

Kwame Kilpatrick and Christine Beatty testified in a 2007 civil case involving two cops who say they lost their jobs after investigating the mayor. Text messages between Kilpatrick and Beatty have now surfaced causing some to believe they lied in court and that the two were having an affair. The more than 14,000 text messages were exchanged almost daily discussing city business, political gossip and even ‘American Idol.’

“I’m madly in love with you,” Kilpatrick wrote on Oct. 3, 2002.

“I hope you feel that way for a long time,” Beatty answered. “In case you haven’t noticed, I am madly in love with you, too!”

Other texts contain sexual content, like this exchange on April 8, 2003:

Beatty: “And, did you miss me, sexually?”

Kilpatrick: “Hell yeah! You couldn’t tell. I want some more.”

“I’ve been dreaming all day about having you all to myself for 3 days,” the mayor wrote on Oct. 16, 2002. “Relaxing, laughing, talking, sleeping and making love.”

The mayor has issued a statement asking everyone to respect his privacy. A privacy that has reportedly cost the taxpayers of Detroit close to 9 million dollars. Hope it was worth it Mr. Mayor.

On Wednesday the jury was seated in the lawsuit against Victoria Osteen, the wife of Joel Osteen - the popular and nationally known pastor of Lakewood Church in Houston. Victoria Osteen is co-pastor of the church that boasts 42,000 attendees each week. The charges against Victoria Osteen are that she assaulted a flight attendant. Osteen’s lawyer calls the charges “silly.” Sharon Brown, a flight attendant with Continental Airlines, contends that Victoria Osteen shoved her against a bathroom door and elbowed her because she was upset over her stained first-class seat. Brown claims that flight attendants asked to have Osteen removed from the plane. Osteen’s lawyer says that Osteen and her family left the airplane voluntarily. However, the incident made the flight two and a half hours late. Brown wants an apology from Victoria Osteen along with punitive damages amounting to ten percent of Victoria Osteen’s net worth.

Seating the jury wasn’t a simple process. The Osteens are well-known, and some jurors admitted that they were “star-struck” or that their respect for the Osteens might influence their decisions in the case. On the other hand, other potential jurors admitted a dislike of preachers and/or televangelists.

Here’s my favorite part of Brown’s claim. She says she suffers from anxiety and HEMORRHOIDS because of the incident. Hemorrhoids? Is she claiming that Victoria Osteen is a pain in that part of the anatomy? Does being shoved cause hemorrhoids? She also claims that her faith was affected. She wants Osteen to pay for her counseling. Here’s the clincher, though. This isn’t the first time that Brown has claimed that she was attacked. Previously she had claimed that an airport emloyee had attacked her.

Rumors are circulating that talented and hunky Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal is expecting his first child with Argentinian actress Dolores Fonsi.

According to People en Espanol, Gael Garcia Bernal, 30, has been quietly dating Doloris Fonsi, also 30, since December of 2007. While the couple has not officially confirmed their pregnancy, rumors have been circulating since as early as May that they are expecting.

Gael García Bernal was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and is the son of Patricia Bernal, an actress and former model, and José Angel García, an actor and director. In his early acting career, Gael starred in popular Mexican telenovellas, where he was quickly becoming a hearthrob. However, he left the television world at age 19 to pursue more distinguished acting work.

In 2005, Gael Garcia Bernal was nominated for a BAFTA for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for The Motorcycle Diaries . In 2006, he was nominated for the Orange Rising Star award, an acknowledgement of new talent in the acting industry. In addition to this star-making role, he has also been featured in such films as Babel, The Science of Sleep, Y Tu Mamá También, and The King.

Previous to his relationship with Dolores Fonsi, Gael Garcia Bernal dated filmstar Natalie Portman. The couple ended their relationship in 2006.

A “Girls Gone Wild” employee was arrested and charged with first degree sexual assault after an incident that took place on the company’s tour bus outside of a Smithtown, NY night club last Wednesday.

Matthew O’Sullivan, 37, from Los Angeles, was arrested after a woman accused him of inappropriate sexual contact aboard the “Girls Gone Wild” tour bus.

The 20-year-old woman, whose identity is being withheld due to the nature of the alleged crime, told [police] she was invited onto the tour bus and then “subjected to unwanted sexual contact,” police said.

The woman went on to claim that she was assaulted during the filming of a video on board the tour bus. Suffolk county police declined to confirm whether the woman was actually featured in that taping of “Girls Gone Wild.”

This isn’t the first scandal to arrise out of the infamous show. Joe Francis, the show’s producer, served jail time on counts of child pornography and prostitution after four women claimed that they were filmed performing adult acts. One woman had been thirteen at the time of filming.

Ashley Alexandra Dupre, otherwise known as “Kristen,” had been featured in a segment of “Girls Gone Wild.” She is the woman who was at the center of the Eliot Spitzer prostitution scandal which forced him to resign as Governor of New York.

Marisel recently found herself the victim of the Web Cam Spy Hacker program. After dropping her laptop off with Craig Matthew Feigin for a tune-up, she found that the battery was draining faster than normal and the little light by her built-in camera kept coming on if she walked by it. It turns out Feigin installed a program on her computer that allowed him to download images of Marisel without her knowledge. In fact, he downloaded 20,000 images of her, her boyfriend, and her friends in various stages of undress. Upon questioning, Feigin admitted to altering the laptop, and doing the same to 8 or 9 others.

As a biography, Marisel Garcia lives in Hialeah, Florida. She was visiting friends over the 4th of July in Gainesville when she took her troubled laptop to Feigin, age 23, for repair. He had come highly recommended by others on the University of Florida campus. Feigin, a business student, has been charged with a felony and held on $20,000 bond.

Now photos of Marisel have been circulated around the world. Otherwise, not much is known about the victim of this creepy crime.

A lawsuit has been filed over her predecessor’s firing at KOIN 6 News which call them “sexual, pornographic or otherwise inappropriate” modeling pictures. She says they are just normal swimsuit photos rather than erotica, and we think she is right. They are normal modeling pics and nothing wrong with them or our new favorite swimsuit reporter.

The bikini images first came to light when Ms. Montoya was a news anchor in Palm Springs, California. They were posted on several erotica sites, an alarming development which disturbed her greatly. Others did research and discovered her previous names.

Her Kacey Aliece collection bills her as a “lustful and curious blonde” and a sales pitch of an “erotic ensemble of near-nothing g-string and lingerie shots!” They sell a package of 40 which you can apparently still obtain.

The Benchwarmers pic of Kacey Bytheway we found really is hot. It is a suggestive girl-on-girl image where she is straddling the face of another model named Brooke Morales.

As a biography, Kacey Montoya was born in Orange County California and spent her childhood in Dallas Texas. She majored in journalism at Cal State Northridge (not USC as one of her alias biographies states). She says that she was not a party girl but spent her nightlife studying.

After college she interned at CNN in Los Angeles where she did celebrity news reporting. Later she had a stint for ABC News in West Virginia. She loves her chihuahua doggies, and volunteers time for local animal causes. Kacey Montoya’s hobbies listed on her alias biographies include travel, dancing, and skiing.

Anne Hathaway’s former boyfriend/scam artist Raffaello Follieri is causing some serious inconveniences for her. According to several reputable news agencies, the FBI has confiscated some nude photos of the actress. According to Gawker, Raffaello Follieri took naked photos of Anne. He also allegedly hired a professional photographer to take some risqué photos of her. These photos are said to be of Anne wearing black fishnet stockings, a garter belt, and bustier that bears her breasts.

When Anne got word that the FBI was looking for some stuff, she sent her brother to get the pictures out of there. I betcha he’s glad he got out of that one. Hopefully.

Gawker gives it two weeks before the pictures are leaked. Let the anticipation begin.
